EMS was founded in May 2006 by Practice Principal, Chris Watson who has over 26 years experience in the financial services industry with companies such as the Zurich Advice Network and the St. James’s Place Wealth Management Group.

The policy of ‘Treating Customers Fairly’ which is a Financial Services requirement is taken very seriously at EMS and is reflected in our Service Proposition to both existing and potential clients.

EMS offers a full advice service in respect of purchase mortgages, remortgages, and Buy to Let, as well as most mortgage insurance products, including life assurance and critical illness protection. EMS can also refer you to preferred specialist providers of overseas mortgages, secured loans, and commercial mortgages.

Overseas mortgages, secured loans, commercial mortgages and, in general, Buy to Let mortgages are not regulated by the Financial Services Authority.

You can pay for our services by fee only. In these circumstances, a typical fee is 1% of the loan payable on completion. You can also pay a reduced fee and we will retain the procuration fee from the Lender. A typical fee would then be 0.6% of the loan. The precise amount will depend on your circumstances.
